about sunnie…
my name is sunnie kim and i wear a variety of hats that fortunately overlap in good ways. at work, i am a creative technologies strategist for MSUglobal, which is an experimental/entrepreneurial unit at michigan state university. my responsibilities include designing and developing online courses as well as researching and evaluating new technologies and tools to see how they can be incorporated into current programs and projects. i am the self-proclaimed resident OER specialist and am helping spearhead the OER initiatives at michigan state university.
my other hat is that of a doctoral student in educational technology at pepperdine university. this site is a project for my class on human computer interaction (HCI). my goal is to become an “expert” in the area of open educational resources. i am passionate about this movement because i want to change the world through education and innovation and OERs may be the way to do it.
